Mark Hale

Mark Hale serves as Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships at Cyber Defense Advisors, where he helps organizations navigate cybersecurity and compliance while building strategic partnerships across the industry. With a background in Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati, Mark began his career as a software developer before moving into leadership roles focused on building teams, technology solutions, and business relationships.

 

Throughout his career, Mark has led the development of data platforms, enterprise technology initiatives, and cybersecurity programs from the ground up. While his work spans compliance frameworks such as CMMC, SOC 2, HIPAA, and FedRAMP, his real passion is helping people solve problems and creating opportunities for others to succeed.

 

Outside of work, Mark has dedicated years to volunteering with organizations supporting individuals with disabilities, including teaching adaptive scuba diving through Dive Pirates and helping children experience skiing and kayaking through T.A.S.S.C. He has also worked alongside the CYBR.SEC.CON team to develop interactive cybersecurity experiences for YOUTH.SEC.CON., introducing students to cybersecurity through hands-on learning and problem solving.
